CRISTINA HAREA JOINS DCP AS COUNTRY MANAGER FOR MOLDOVA AND ROMANIA

Diligent Capital Partners (DCP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Cristina Harea as Country Manager for Moldova and Romania. In this role, Ms. Harea will lead DCP’s presence and activities in Moldova and Romania, overseeing local operations and fostering key relationships. This appointment reflects DCP’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the Black Sea Region.

Ms. Harea brings over 14 years of private equity experience in the Black Sea Region. She has managed an investment portfolio exceeding $50 million and held senior positions in both the public and private sectors. Her track record spans diverse industries – including financial services, agribusiness, and consumer goods – giving her a broad perspective on the region’s investment landscape.

Throughout her career, Ms. Harea has held leadership roles at Horizon Capital Advisors and NCH’s Agro Sinergia Europe, among others. She also served as Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Moldova, where she helped implement key reforms in the banking sector. Across these positions, she developed strong relationships with international investors and public institutions, further enhancing her ability to drive cross-border initiatives.

Ms. Harea earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She also holds a degree in Philology from the State University of Moldova. With both international and local academic credentials, she brings a well-rounded perspective to her new role.
